Nancy Pelosi Calls Bush A Total Failure

Friday, July 18th, 2008  by Connie T.

CNN decided to do something relevant today and had Democratic Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi on with Wolf Blitzer. Before we go any further with this, we have to one thing out of our system: she has one of the strangest noses we've ever seen. And we don't think she was born with it, and it wasn't Maybelline.

Anyhow, Pelosi said, "God bless him, bless his heart, the President of the United States, a total failure."

Paging Captain Obvious. Is she sure she wasn't talking about herself?

Nancy has been the one blocking impeachment attempts against both President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney, despite the wishes of American voters.

In case Ms. Pelosi was unaware, pollings of the American public have consistently showed a lower approval rating of Congress than even Bush and Cheney.

In addition to the little (to zero) accountability she's imposed on the current administration, she's allowed Bush to push through measures Congress didn't agree with and veto measures Congress deemed pertinent with hardly a peep.

And now, suddenly, at the tail-end of this disastrous presidency, Pelosi finally comes forward to speak the obvious. We're sure this has nothing to do with the fact that a new Speaker of the House can be chosen in January of 2009...(fingers crossed).

UPDATE:  A reader just sent us a screenshot that we're at the top of Google News regarding Nancy Pelosi's failure quote. We're amused.
