Cpl. Michael E. Thompson of Harrah, Oklahoma died on September 18th
in Tallil, Iraq, when the CH-47 Chinook helicopter he was in crashed. He was 23 years old.
Cpl. Thompson was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 149th Aviation, 36th Combat Aviation Brigade,
Oklahoma National Guard out of Lexington, Oklahoma.
