Michael Bloomberg Eyes The Crown
Tuesday, October 28th, 2008 by Connie T.

Billionaire, media mogul, and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has effectively convinced
the New York City Council to overturn the rule limiting the Big Apple's mayor to serve 2 terms. Clearing
the path for himself to run again, Bloomberg got the law changed to 8 terms, meaning he or any other
candidate could hold the position of Mayor for up to 12 years.
Should the title remain Mayor,
or be changed to King?
Though the MSM's gone relatively easy on him, some people are not
as pleased as Bloomberg is about his newfound opportunity. Democrat Senator Hillary Clinton commented
that it's "disturbing" that NY voters turned down this idea already...twice. She said that she's closely
monitoring the opinions of the people of NYC to see how they feel about the term change
Bloomberg himself
spent at least $4 million of his own money to oppose others extending term limits in the past. But now the former
Republican and former Democrat, turned Independent, has changed his mind...and geared up his re-election campaign.
