Chuck Baldwin, The Constitution Party Candidate
Saturday, October 18th, 2008 by Connie T.

Since the mainstream media refuses to cover the third party presidential candidates, we
had to do the research on our own. For the next few weeks we will introduce the values
and platforms of each of the third party candidates to you, so all your options are on the
table before you hit the voting booths. For this entry, meet Chuck Baldwin.
Charles "Chuck" Baldwin is a member of the Constitution Party. In September, Congressman and
former Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul stated that he is supporting Chuck
Baldwin for President. Baldwin himself is a former member of the Republican Party, but switched
parties on the belief that Republicans and Democrats are both dominated and controlled by the
same interests and "Big Money conglomerates." Neither
party [Democrat nor Republican] has any loyalty to the U.S. Constitution or the principles of
liberty...Republicans use conservative rhetoric the same way Democrats use liberal rhetoric. Neither
party believes what they are telling their constituents. They merely say what constituents want
to hear in order to get elected, after which they set about to do what their elitist, global
manipulators tell them to do. Baldwin is the pastor of a Baptist Church in
Florida and writes a weekly news column. On the issues:
Baldwin has long been a critic
of the George W. Bush administration.
Baldwin opposes amnesty for illegal immigrants.
He is pro-life.
He is an opponent of the Iraq War, and believes that the invasion
and occupation of Iraq was "absolutely unnecessary."
Baldwin believes that there
needs to be a new investigation into the attacks of September 11th, 2001.
Baldwin opposes
a New World Order and has said that fighting against a one-world government is his top priority.
Baldwin is a strong supporter of the right to keep and bear arms.
He advocates freedom of
choice in health care.
Baldwin wants to end all Federal income taxes and replace them
with a 10% tariff across the board on imports.
Chuck opposes the Patriot Act because of
its infringement on personal freedom and privacy.
