Couric Interviews Palin Again, And McCain
Wednesday, October 1st, 2008 by Connie T.
In preparation for Thursday night's debate between Vice Presidential candidates
Joe Biden and Sarah Palin, CBS News aired another part of Katie Couric's interview
with Sarah Palin. For the first time John McCain sat down for a joint interview with
his running mate.
The high-necked jackets...the praying hands stance...the quips...she
makes it so easy for Tina Fey.
There were no giant blunders this time, like Palin's
previous inability to discuss the Bush Doctrine and McCain's Senate track record. But Couric did
bring up Palin's desire to drill for oil in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, which McCain disagrees
with. I cannot believe he laughed at this part...yes, the prospect of eliminating the natural habitat
of moose, lynx, caribou, marten, wolverines, black and grizzly bears, wolves, waterfowl, and
hundreds of other species is so funny.
Palin revealed that although she talks a lot
about God and what she considers to be His plan in many situations, she does not regularly attend
any church.
