Your eyes do not deceive you -
that is John McCain and friends chuckling over how to beat Hillary
Clinton the "bitch," which was said by a woman, shame on her
(although she does look a little mannish). A campaign
supporter literally stood up and asked Senator John McCain, "How do
we beat the bitch?"
His answer? "That's an
excellent question." I think the funniest part of the clip is the
part where McCain says, "There was a poll yesterday, a Rasmussen poll,
identifies, it shows me three points ahead of Senator Clinton in a
head-to-head matchup." (He doesn't ask who the woman is referring
to when she says "How do we beat the bitch.")
It was two points, dear, not
three - and the first paragraph of the poll publication calls it
"statistically insignificant." But, hey, if you're going by
Rasmussen (not that I'm sure I trust them), you ought to know that
two days later, they published a poll that 61% of Americans want troops
home from Iraq within a year. Which doesn't jive well with
you.
And three days later, on November 14th, they had
Clinton in first place and you in a multilevel tie for sixth
place. But hey, keep hope alive there, buddy.
