Staff Sgt. Matthew J. Taylor of Charleston, South Carolina died on September 21st
in Baghdad, Iraq, from wounds suffered in small arms fire during dismounted operations. He was
25 years old.
Sgt. Taylor was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 30th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade
Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry) out of Fort Polk, Louisiana.
