Mary
J. Blige
Has
A Heart For
Amy Winehouse
Monday, January 21st, 2008

In a recent issue of Interview
Magazine, Mary J. Blige commented on the chaotic life of fellow blonde Amy
Winehouse, who is an alleged drug user and whose husband is serving time
in jail. Blige had nothing but hopeful words for both Winehouse and
the music industry in general.
"Someone like Amy Winehouse is so
important to the music business right now," Mary J. Blige said. "I
think [the industry] kind of got lost and we ended up in a drought for a
while, but I see it making a turn, so instead of music just being
synthetic, we'll see it going back to actual instruments.
"That's
what I'm hoping for anyway, because that's the kind of music I'm
making."
Blige, who is nominated for three Grammy's this year,
definitely has a say in where the music industry is going! And we
hope the getting-back-to-real-music part is true...somebody needs to tell
that to Paula
Abdul!
Wait!
There's more! More
