Just as we reported at the beginning of the month, Marie Osmond will indeed be getting her own talk show, she has confirmed.  We also posted a poll alongside the announcement, in which - as of the time of this article - 92% (out of 172 votes) of you said you would tune into a Marie Osmond daytime talk show if she got the gig.

Marie signed on with Program Partners for an hour-long entertainment/lifestyle talk show that will be launching in fall of 2009, Reuters just reported.

She said, "It will be a real feel-good show...I've been through a lot of things in life and have no problem talking about it.  Women need a safe place where they can laugh, feel good and relate to (other women)."
