Mandy Moore Takes In UFC 83

The latest celeb fan of the Ultimate Fighting Championship is none other than Mandy Moore, the 24-year-old pop singer and actress who recently joined Kelly Clarkson on her Australian tour.  We dig the UFC, but $40 per event is getting a little steep for us so we missed last night's UFC 83 event in Montreal, Canada.  The scoop, though, is that George St-Pierre regained the UFC Welterweight Championship on his home turf last night.  Moore wore a UFC tee and took in the crowd and event at what the UFC says was the largest live crowd in UFC history:  more than 21,000 fans in one arena.

George St-Pierre - also known as GSP - defeated Matt Serra by Technical Knock Out at 4:45 in the second round.  Rich Franklin beat Travis Lutter by the same in the 2nd round; Nate Quarry beat Kalib Starnes by Unanimous Decision after all 3 rounds; Michael Bisping won by TKO Stoppage by the Referee in the first round; Mac Danzig won by submission against Mark Bocek.
