Madonna Inducted Into Rock And
Roll Hall Of Fame
Friday, December 14th, 2007

Madonna, John Mellencamp, The Ventures, Leonard
Cohen, and The Dave Clark Five are the latest inductees into the Rock
& Roll Hall Of Fame, as announced yesterday. A panel of 600
industry figures selected five acts to be inducted at the annual ceremony,
to be held March 10 in New York, the AP reports.
"To be elible, artists must have
issued a first single or album at least 25 years before nomination,"
the article said. Ms. Vogue made her debut in 1982 when she signed
an exclusive deal with Sire Records and skyrocketed to fame.
This
may be additional good news for Madonna, whose adoption of 2-year-old
David Banda was reported to be finally approved by the Malawaian
government.
Here's a question: why the $%#& are the Rock
& Roll Hall Of Fame awards being held in New York City instead of
Cleveland, Ohio, where the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame
is? That is all we
have, man! At least give us the awards
ceremonies for it!
Cripe!
