David Letterman Ticked That McCain Cancelled

David Letterman may actually have gotten more out of John McCain cancelling his appearance on The Letterman Show than he would have if McCain actually showed up! In his intro last night, Letterman was none too pleased with the snub.

And the video of it has gotten over 780,000 views in less than a day on YouTube.com. Dave said,

So here's what happens: the economy is about to crater, you're a Senator, a fourth-term Senator from Arizona; you go back to Washington, you handle what you need to handle - don't suspend your campaign!...You heard it here first: this doesn't smell right. You know? This just doesn't smell right. Because this is not the way a tested hero behaves. Somebody put something in his Metamucil.

So what do you think about McCain suspending his campaign over the suddenly confirmed "economic crisis" (i.e., backing taxpayers in a corner to bail out the banks)? You already know what we think...
