Lauren Conrad's LA Candy

Lauren Conrad just signed a three book deal with Harper Collins. No joke!
The first book is called L.A. Candy and will be out in the summer of 2009.
She says that the books won't be about The Hills, they're about a girl who
suddenly becomes a reality television star and has to deal with fame and fortune.
And some of the characters may symbolize people in her life. Okay.. . . so this is
fiction how exactly?
Anyways, I'm wondering if she's actually writing them
herself or having them ghostwritten. Like we'll ever know the difference. Keep an
eye out for them in the YA aisles at your local bookstore next year.
