Yawn...The Late
Night
Shows Are Coming Back
Saturday, December 29th, 2007

Yawn...If you haven't heard, the late night shows
are coming back. David Letterman and the Craig Ferguson show are
coming back with their full writing staff, after making a deal with the
union; they'll be back January 2nd. Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien, and
Jimmy Kimmel will have their shows return January 2nd without
writers.
David Letterman said in a statement:
"I am grateful
to the WGA for granting us this agreement. We're happy to be going
back to work, and particularly pleased to be doing it with our
writers. This is not a solution to the strike, which unfortunately
continues to disrupt the lives of thousands. But I hope it will be
seen as a step in the right direction."
I don't watch the late
night shows, but I do support the writers' strike!
