Kucinich Standing For Those Facing Foreclosure
Monday, September 29th, 2008 by Connie T.
We've been waiting for some Dennis Kucinich news, since the Congressman
launched his impeachment
campaign against President George W. Bush over the summer.
Kucinich was testifying
regarding the gap between the rich and the poor and the "artificial real estate bubble."
Unfortunately,
he got less than two minutes in before he got cut off. He got a little more time in on FOX
News, where he warned that the formerly proposed bank bailout plan was being rushed by Congressional
leaders with no opportunity to discuss alternatives to help homeowners facing foreclosure
and no adequate oversight or regulations.
Yes, that was definitely one of the scariest things about the bailout measure - that
it was rushed upon Congress and the people so quickly and urgently as a "must" and expected to
be pushed through nearly overnight.
