Celebrity Ladder Holds Weight On Broadway, Too

Oh no she di-in't! Not that we were planning a trip to Broadway, but
now we're stuck pitying Mario Lopez. Somewhere amongst the whir of Tom Cruise and
Katie Holmes' agents, attorneys and assistants, Holmes' planned role in "All My Sons"
may lead to Mario Lopez getting the shaft.
MSNBC
has cited a source "privy to the talks between shows" as saying that "A Chorus Line," the
musical currently starring Lopez, will be moved to a musical theater due to the short-term
agreement Katie wanted and the fact that there are more seats at the Schoenfeld Theater than
at a traditional playhouse.
If true, that means that Mario's long-awaited
dreams of appearing on a Broadway stage will be cut short to make room for Mrs. Cruise.
Hollywood...New York City...all so brutal!
Ah well, at least he's still on a
book
tour...isn't he?
