Sgt. Major Julio C. Ordonez of San Antonio, Texas died on September 18th
when the CH-47 Chinook helicopter he was in went down in the vicinity of Tallil, Iraq. He
was 54 years old.
Sgt. Ordonez was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 149th Aviation,
36th Combat Aviation Brigade, Texas Army National Guard out of Grand Prairie, Texas.
