Jordin Sparks Elaborates On Purity Rings

We're sure you've all seen the clips by now of Russell Brand
poking fun at promise rings and the Jonas brothers at the VMA's, and Jordin Sparks responding at the
podium by saying "not everybody, guy or girl, wants to be a slut." The American Idol
winner went on Hannity & Colmes and explained in more detail her feelings on promise
rings.
Not sure why she chose FOX News as the outlet, but we do admire this
girl's values. It probably came out the wrong way at the Video Music Awards, but
there are few better examples for the younger generation than Jordin.
(Nice
low blow at liberals by Hannity, by the way. Puh-leaz.)
Anyway, Jordin
showed her ring which is inscribed with "True Love Waits," and talked about how she
avoids temptation. Keep on keepin' on, girl...we're proud of you!
