John McCain Goes After Iran, Heckler Accuses Him Of Endless War
Tuesday, May 27th,
2008

John McCain was giving a speech in Denver, Colorado today,
in which he was giving some serious implications that he wants action taken
against Iran. Now that's scary: as if we weren't tangled and overextended
enough in Iraq, McCain called out Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
(grossly mispronounced). He was interrupted by an audience member that began
chanting, "Endless war, endless war, endless war..."

"We have seen Iran marching, marching with
single-minded determination toward the same goal," McCain said, referring to
his references to building nuclear weapons. "President Ahmadinejad has threatened
to wipe Israel off the face of the Earth, and represents a threat to every country
in the region - one we cannot ignore or minimize."
What is he suggesting? And
WHY would he follow that statement up with a smile and a wink?
Then - and we can't believe people were clapping to this - McCain said,
"And by the way, I will never surrender in Iraq, my friends, I will never
surrender in Iraq."
