FOX News anchor John Gibson made
derogatory remarks about Heath Ledger that have an entire internet
audience up in arms. Saying there is "no point in passing up a good
joke," Gibson made fun of a line from Brokeback Mountain, and
then defended it by laughing, and saying, "Ha ha ha, well I'm still
breathing. There's the difference right there."
No
joke. As if it isn't enough that FOX News blatantly excludes news and people that they don't agree
with (fair and balanced, right?), they allow cruel and controversial
remarks to be made by their anchors without consequence.

ThinkProgress.org, GLAAD, and Perez Hilton have all published online petitions, asking
FOX News why they continue to provide a platform for cruel and tasteless
comments.
