Jenny McCarthy says she
couldn't have asked God for better than Jim
Carrey Tuesday, October 2nd,
2007

Jenny McCarthy was gushing to
Extra today about Jim Carrey. "Amazing, he's a really
great guy. I couldn't have asked for God to bring me a better
person in our lives," she said. "I think we've come into Jim's
life just as wonderfully as he's come into ours...I do care for him a
lot and so does Evan."
But she's not planning on expanding their
brood: "I hate saying the word never, because then the universe
goes 'oh yeah!' But universe, I choose not to. I'm happy
with my beautiful light ball Evan and my cutie boyfriend Jim. I'm
done."
Jenny's son Evan, 5 years old, was
diagnosed with autism when he was just three. The mother and son
duo were featured on the cover of People magazine at the end of last
month, where she talked about their struggle with autism and Evan's
remarkable progress.
"I don't want to come across like a
preacher," she said. "All I'm doing is showing there are things
you can do to ease autism." And she gushed back then as well about
how Jim was with her son: "Jim reacted better than anyone ever
did. He was intrigued. He asked questions...Beyond doubt it
was written in the stars that Jim and Evan were a pair. He's
actually helped Evan get past some obstacles I couldn't."
McCarthy has put her experience's with her
son's condition into words in the just-published, Louder than Words:
A mother's Journey in Healing Autism.
