Jelena Jankovic Won't Continue To Dubai Championship

Awww.  Poor Jelena Jankovic...we were rooting for her!  The 23-year-old professional tennis player from Belgrade, Serbia lost out on the Dubai Championships, which will play out tomorrow, after losing today's match against Svetlana Kuznetsova.  The winner will get a quarter of a million dollars.  The semifinals were today at Dubai Tennis Stadium in the United Arab Emirates, and Kuznetsova came from behind to beat Jelena with final numbers of 5-7, 6-4, 6-3.

Svetlana Kuznetsova will now be facing Elena Dementieva for the final game - they are both from Russia.

U.S.'s Justine Henin was also in the running, but lost out to Francesca Schiavone yesterday; but today, Dementieva beat Sciavone (from Italy) with a final score of 5-7, 7-5, 6-2.

I'm not even sure if it's called a "score" in tennis...I just like Jelena Jankovic.  She works her butt off!  Sad to see her go!
