Janet Jackson Turns To Authoring

Unfortunately for Janet Jackson, her last album hasn't gone so well:  it started out okay, with the first single, "Feedback," reaching #19 on the Billboard's Hot 100.  But the singles released after that didn't make a splash, and the album sales for Discipline have dropped to about 310,000 copies in the US, making it one of her least successful albums.  But Janet isn't discouraged; she has a couple of things in the works.

First off, Ms. Jackson announced that she will be going on her first tour in seven years, a combination of her last two albums (Discipline and 20 Y.O.) on a tour called "Rock Witchu" (or "Rock With U").

Secondly, Janet will soon be Janet Jackson, author...USA Today reports that Janet is releasing a book in November through Karen Hunt Publishing, which will include her battle with weight and self esteem, and touch upon lifestyle changes and diet tips from her nutritionist.
