Indiana Jones Blazes New Trail
Sunday, May 25th,
2008

Look out...there's no stopping Harrison Ford! On top
of getting stellar reviews, the new Indiana Jones movie - "Indiana Jones and the
Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" - has already set a record. On it's opening day,
Thursday, "Indy" took in $25 million, which was an opening day
record for director Steven Spielberg, and for its star,
Harrison Ford.
In just two days, the film grossed $56 million. This is
going to give "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian," and "Iron Man" - which
were at the top of the weekly box office - a run for their money!
For a
movie that's just opened, "Indy" has already received an award: MTV's Movie Award
for Best Summer Movie So Far. The first Indiana Jones movie was in 1981, with
"Raiders Of The Lost Ark," meaning this movie is 27 years later...and still a hit!
