One of the most shocking
facts revealed (we're going to give you one answer here, take it or leave it!) is that approximately
50,000 species are destroyed each year due to deforestation.
About half of
the world's tropical rainforests are gone, and deforestation kills an estimated 137 species (animals,
insects) per day.
We admit, on our first attempt our score was only 40% (although, in my
defense, there were super-specifics like how many millions of tons or gallons of this or that...).
