Hillary Clinton May Be Lined Up For Secretary Of State
Monday, November 17th, 2008 by Connie T.

Senator Hillary Clinton flew to Chicago and met with President-elect Barack Obama
on Thursday, and speculation is running rampant that it was to discuss a position as Secretary of State for Hillary,
the former Democratic presidential candidate. Everyone from Senators to Governors have been on
network news shows as of late voicing approval of the possible appointment.
If you recall, back in October,
Sen. Clinton said she had no
intentions of filling any other position besides "the best Senator from New York that I can be."
But the Obama
campaign and even Hillary's own husband have not quieted speculators; as Sen. Obama rushes to assemble his cabinet
before January, Bill Clinton told news reporters that his wife would be a "great secretary of state," and that
he has spoken to her long distance from Kuwait a couple of times but did not know whether or not the job slot
was discussed.
