Over 4.5 Million Iraqi Refugees Need Help
Tuesday, September 23rd, 2008 by Connie T.

Every day we post a memorial to a U.S. soldier that has died in the Iraq War,
but we certainly are aware that the Iraqi's are suffering as well. Over 43,000 Iraqi
security forces and civilians have died since the U.S. invaded.
And now, there are over
4.5 million Iraqi people who have become refugees to flee the fighting. Does the mainstream
media put this in the news? No. But these people are desperately in need of help.
What can we do? A
generous and anonymous donor has offered to match every dollar up to $500,000 to help misplaced Iraqi
refugees through the American Friends Service Committee (AFSC).

If you give now,
every dollar you give will be doubled to help support the AFSC's work for peace, justice, and
human dignity for these people.
