The newest ConnieTalk Heart Of Gold Award goes to...Hayden Panettiere.  Long overdue!  Heroes star Hayden Panettiere has been at this for quite some time.  We reported on her protest back in November for the Save The Whalescampaign; she wears activist tees just like ours that urge you to adopt your pet instead of buying from breeders; all in all, she's a major animal lover and a pretty amazing chick.

And girlfriend is still at it - she is in Washington, D.C. right now meeting with high-profile politicians (including former presidential candidate John Kerry), doing press conferences and meetings for Save The Whales.

So, congratulations, Hayden, on your ConnieTalk Heart Of Gold Award, and for being one extraordinarily good human being.  If you have an acceptance speech, give us a buzz!
