profits to California fire victims

Gwen Stefani is donating the proceeds from
yesterday's San Diego, California show to the victims of the wildfires
that have been affecting California residents for the past week.
Stefani gave the profits from the concert to the San Diego Foundation to
support fire relief efforts.
"When I heard about the devastation of the
fires, at first I felt I should cancel my show out of respect," Stefani
said in a radio interview. "But then it occurred to me that there
might be a more useful solution."
Awwww! What a doll!
This is the last week of Gwen's Sweet
Escape world tour.
Not only have the wildfires been
devastating California, but a moderate earthquake (magnitude 5.6) just
struck last night, about 9
miles from San Jose, California, Silicon Valley's biggest city, causing
at least minor damage.
