Gossip Girls To Quit Competing With Themselves
Saturday, April 19th,
2008 by Esmerelda

CW has
decided to stop streaming new episodes of Gossip Girls when it comes back
on the air. They were previously releasing each episode about a week after
it originally aired on their website www.CWTV.com.
This policy has generated hundreds of thousands of streams for
them. Only problem is it seems to be messing with their television viewing
audience. In order to get numbers back up they loaded the online Gossip
Girl episodes with advertisements. Evidently, that didn't work for them
either.
The twelve episodes that are up now won't be pulled and
you'll still be able to purchase downloads at iTunes. Otherwise, you'll
have to mark your calendar or set your DVR to catch the latest
shows.
