Al Gore Calls For Civil Disobedience

I never imagined Al Gore as the protesting type, but the former
Vice President is now urging America's youth to protest against coal-fired plants that
aren't effectively eliminating their carbon output.
At the annual meeting for the
Clinton Global Initiative, Gore said that "it is time for civil disobedience to prevent
the construction of new coal plants that do not have carbon capture and sequestration."
Does that mean that protestors can avoid arrest by saying "Al Gore told me to do it?"
He didn't really elaborate on what form this civil disobedience should take on, but we're assuming
he meant peaceful protests...so don't get too out of hand!
