Google has a relatively new feature in which the search engine features a dropdown box that gives you options of popular searches to save you from typing in the rest of what you were planning on Googling. While typing in a search item, it occurred to us to put in the beginning of a question, and find out what people are asking the #1 search engine about the presidential candidates.

What do people most want to know about Barack Obama and John McCain? The answers may will surprise you.

If you're actually now wondering the answers to these questions, they are:

John McCain is a member of the congregation at a Southern Baptist Church, and was brought up Episcopalian. Both of these are Christian denominations, so yes, John McCain is a Christian.

Barack Obama is also a Christian, a Protestant Christian with the United Church of Christ. No, he is not and never was Muslim. Or muslin, for that matter.

Both McCain and Obama are left-handed.

As for as I'm aware, neither Barack nor John is the antichrist.

Both of them are natural-born citizens of the U.S.

Neither candidate is an admitted freemason / mason - a member of an ancient fraternity lodge - but of course there will always be conspiracy theories and things we don't know about politicians, so go research it yourself if you're that interested, and feel free to let me in on it.

Yes, Barack Obama is black. He's Kenyan-American, specifically.

Is John McCain stupid? That might depend on how you define it.

Is John McCain sick? Not technically, although he is at risk for a recurrence of cancer due to his bout with skin cancer. He also has kidney stones and cysts, and has had enlarged prostate tissue removed. Lost your lunch yet?

Barack is not a Socialist. Although some bloggers claim he was a member of the New Party in 1996 - a socialist oriented party formed by members of the Democratic Socialists for America. There doesn't seem to be concrete proof of this, either.

Yes, John McCain is pro-life, although he has gone back and forth in the past on whether or not he thinks Roe v. Wade should be appealed. He currently says it should be overturned.

We're just going to skip the racism question because the people who admit to being racists usually cover their faces with something. So it's a stupid question to ask. And probably subjective.

John McCain is not a lawyer.

Barack Obama is a smoker. He's expressed a desire to quit in past interviews, though.
