Global Green USA Challenges Media, Presidential Candidates With Flair
 Thursday, February 21st, 2008

New mommy Salma Hayek signing the Global Green challenge to Presidential candidates and the media.  We want her stylist!  Look at those shoes...with the black toenail polish...superb!

LOVE Global Green USA!  They had their 5th annual Global Green Pre-Oscar Party at Avalon Hollywood yesterday, and stars like Salma Hayek, Sophia Bush, Mia Maestro, Tia Carrere, Molly Sims, Radha Mitchell, and Michelle Branch showed up in support of Global Green's challenge to the media and presidential candidates on climate change initiatives, including the green rebuilding of New Orleans, Louisiana.

Global Green USA is the US affiliate of Green Cross International (GCI), founded by former Soviet President Mikhail S. Gorbachev, who was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1990.  GCI is headquartered in Switzerland, but has affiliate organizations all over the world, including Global Green USA - whose Los Angeles Committee is headed up by Orlando Bloom, Kate Bosworth, Penelope Cruz, Leonardo DiCaprio, David Duchovny, Salma Hayek, Jason Lewis, Josie Maran, Edward Norton, and Charlize Theron.

Their missions include the Green rebuilding of cities and schools; climate change and energy solutions; clean water standards; ridding the world of weapons of mass destruction; recycling; rebuilding New Orleans; and more.

Thanks, CelebUtopia!
