Get Ready To Know Where Your Food Comes From
Thursday, October 2nd, 2008 by Connie T.

This is going to be very, very interesting, my friends. Beginning just a few
months from now - pending an announcement by the USDA - all of your meats, fish, fruits, and
vegetables (both frozen and fresh), as well as poultry, ginseng, pecans, and macadamia nuts, must have a label of origin that states what country it came
from.
The legislation had been stalled in Congress since 2002.
The majority of
lamb, mutton, fish and seafood are imported into the U.S.
USA
Today has a list of a large variety of foods and where there primary origin is. The
legislation was introduced due to concerns of E. coli and other contamination in the food supply.
