Florida Results Won't Be Available For A
While
Wednesday, January 30th, 2008
I feel like
we're on repeat here, and the more we say it, the more the mass media
tries to drown us out - but that's okay, we're used to fighting against
the tide. The results from yesterday's Republican and Democratic
primaries are not yet available, regardless of
what you're reading in the MSM. No national delegates have been won
yet, as in this early state, delegates will be awarded between
February 6th and April 30th at delegate selection
caucuses.
CNN is reporting that Hillary Clinton
is at 50% for the Democrats with 99% reporting, Barack Obama at 33%,
Edwards at 14%, Kucinich (who is out) at 1%. They are saying that
McCain is leading for the Republicans with 36%, Mitt Romney next at
31%, Rudy Giuliani at 15%, Mike Huckabee at 14%, Ron Paul at 3%, Fred
Thompson at 1% (out), Duncan Hunter at 0% (out).
But do you trust them? How can they report
on things that haven't taken place yet? What really irks us is that
Kucinich, Thompson, and Hunter were even on the ballot
in Florida. They have all been out of the race for a
while now!
Dennis Kucinich dropped out the most recently - on January 24th - but
Fred Thompson dropped out on January 22nd, and Duncan Hunter dropped out back on
January 19th.
Candidates who are no longer in the
race should no longer be on the ballot - period.
Speaking of
whom you do and do not trust, check out the latest results of our "Who Do You Trust In The
Mass Media" poll! And if you haven't voted yet, vote
on it! The results so far may surprise you.
