Flavors Of Entanglement Tastes Like Self-Discovery

You cannot listen to the new CD Flavors Of Entanglement by Alanis
Morissette and not feel her pain. The last we heard from Alanis, she was chipper and
sentimental on So-Called Chaos - to the point of lyrics like "You make the knees of
my bees weak" - and in the height of her relationship and engagement
to actor Ryan Reynolds.
But in Flavors, some original Alanis angst returns...along
with a newfound sense of self-discovery.
The album goes from what now-single Alanis has described
as her "rock bottom" song, "Not As We," to the heady and borderline techno-infused "Giggling
Again For No Reason"--with one heck of a journey in between.
Must-have singing in the
shower songs, plus good beats, deep prolific lyrics, and a whole new Alanis sound. Highly
recommend it!
