Hasselbeck Loses Barbara's Pop Quiz

Occasionally I like to tune in to watch the ladies on The View bicker about politics. Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who is usually on top of her far-right game (albeit with notes prepared), got a pop quiz from Barbara Walters today and failed with flying colors.

Babs asked her to give her opinion on why Sarah Palin would make a good President. Simple question, right? Elisabeth didn't take to it too kindly and started going off about how Barack Obama doesn't have any experience.

Meanwhile (and there's always a "meanwhile" on The View because they all talk at once), Whoopi Goldberg said that not one of them - Obama, John McCain, Joe Biden, or Sarah Palin - is qualified to be President. The audience started clapping until they heard her rationale: she thinks that the only person qualified to be President is someone who's been President already. Huh? Does this mean the only person qualified is George W. Bush? Because in that case, bring on the novices!

Oh, and Joy Behar called Sarah Palin dumb.
