Adding forums to your website is easier than ever

Sorry, all:  I updated a little less this weekend because I was working on our forums & news chat, which is now up.  It will still be going through updates these next couple of weeks, so we'll be adding many more features!

Stop in and say hi, post a news article or current issue, or just sound off about what's bothering you lately.

I was always scared of forums - ASP vs. MySQL vs. CGI, all of that computer code - it frightened even me, the computer geek!  But I found MySQL to be very easy with GoDaddy, the domain and hosting company that I've got.  Super-easy.

And I found Snitz Forums 2000, a great pre-made forum that you can customize to meet your needs, and add on your own smilies (I found some funny obscene smiley pages in the process, I must admit - I added a couple that had me laughing).

Snitz has a great support forum, and they have MODs and add-ons from beginner to expert:  everything from smilies and avatars to flash video/YouTube stuff, anti spam filters and multiple language support.

Well, since we're not around 24/7 to put up the news, we're trying to make it so that you can be entertained on the site any time, day or night.  I've added a YouTube channel on the front page so that you can scroll through news videos and bloggers.

And through the forum, you can post and view the latest news & current issues any time.  Coolness, I am so excited about our new forum - we hope you like it, too!
