The
Only Channel On Your TV
That Is Fair To Both Republicans And Democrats
Wednesday,
February 13th, 2008

There are at least two C-Span channels on your cable
television. And they may be the only channels you receive - other
than via satellite dish, perhaps - that are completely
unbiased news. There were just three back-to-back callers
on the air on C-Span that gave amazing news insight that you probably
wouldn't ever hear on your mainstream media news.
Actual live
callers from all over the nation call in all day, and calls are aired in
between live political events, no matter how "PC" or un-PC a caller's
feedback may be...because, in truth, aren't all comments related to
politics correct to the individual who wishes to express them?
A
caller from Tennessee said, "If we can spend millions of dollars on
[Presidential candidate] polls here...why can't we have a poll for Iraqi
[citizens and civilians] asking them: Do you want us
there?...instead of posting polls about Senator John McCain who wants to
[extend this war]?"
We're not kidding you, there were so many
smart callers this morning, they all should have been running for
office.
"People need to read the books," a female caller weighed
in from New York. "Barack Obama has four books...read the books,
watch C-Span. Educate [themselves]. And then they won't make
ignorant statements like, 'He is a Muslim.'" She paused, and then
said "But I love you, America. God Bless you."
We were
listening very closely to a caller whose voice was wavering; she is a
former mortgage company employee, she said, and all of
the news articles about mortgage companies giving people a
break and freezing loans, and television commercials about "buy this
$350,000 house for $300" are terrible for individuals.
Subprime loans, she warned, become thousands of
dollars of additional interest payments over the life a long term loan,
and people who are signing up for them do not realize that they are no
longer paying towards their principle.
They cut her off.
But not from bias - because she spoke too long, and they cut everyone
off after a certain time limit. Just because it was interesting to
me, doesn't mean it'd be interesting to you. No bias, no
commentary, just smile as a brief, sweet goodbye. They don't even
warn: just hit hang up/answer next call, and it's on to the next
rainbowy, patriotic, dewdrop of concerned advice from the American
public.
They cut to a live meeting at the
U.S. House of Representatives, and Rep. Diane Watson
(Democrat, Los Angeles, California) asks the House of Representatives to
stop President George W. Bush and his administration from "continuing
the status quo" with regard to the Iraq War and withholding
information. They have a lot of lessons to learn, she said, and
they're not listening to anyone.
And freedom reigns. Truth,
and freedom, still reign. It is literally thrilling to
watch C-Span for us, after hearing a day's worth of biased news.
Especially their news segments, and their Senate votes - you get to hear
from lower-scale politicians whose real hearts are bleeding
over a huge scope of issues from AIDS to foreign relations to
zygotes, and how things are ruled upon. This could satisfy all of
your reality TV sweet tooth...except it's really real!
Oh, and you'll hear people talking
about Congressman Ron Paul, too, and former governor Mike
Huckabee. The two that receive the least coverage in the mass media. They
don't censor on C-Span.
So, I guess our question
is...please tell us you C-Span?
