Dennis
Kucinich Confirms
He's Dropping Out Of Presidential
Race
Thursday, January 24th, 2008

Sad - we liked Dennis Kucinich.
Cleveland Congressman Dennis Kucinich confirmed to the Cleveland Plain
Dealer today that he is dropping out of the Democratic race for President
of the U.S., and will making an official - and "lengthy" - statement for
the press tomorrow at a news conference in Cleveland.
"I want to
continue to serve in Congress," he said. He also mentioned that he
will not be endorsing any other Democrat in the primary. Does that
mean he'll be endorsing friend Ron Paul?
"I will be announcing
[tomorrow] that I'm transiting out of the presidential campaign," he
said. "I'm making that announcement tomorrow about a new
direction."
Kucinich seemed to have honest and idealistic theories
in his race, and actually marched along side protestors in Seattle during
a meeting of the World Trade Organization to oppose international trade
agreements like the North America Free Trade Agreement.
He and
Republican candidate Ron Paul are the only two candidates that have consistently opposed the invasion
and funding for the Iraq War.
Wait!
There's more!
