Maryanne From Gilligan's Island Talks About Arrest

Dawn Wells, the actress that played Maryanne on the famous TV series Gilligan's Island was on The View today and discussed her Idaho arrest in February. Wells was charged with one count of reckless driving and paid a fine, after failing a field sobriety test. Dawn told Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd about the incident and what she says really happened.

Dawn said she had two drinks, and was driving home in a car she was unfamiliar with, and as she fiddled with the heater, swerved, and got pulled over by the Sheriff.

Wells also said that the marijuana roaches were not hers and that the person the three partial joints in her vehicle belonged to took responsibility and "I didn't go to jail, I didn't have a DUI, it wasn't my marijuana, there was no plea bargain," Dawn said, "Let's clear that up right now."
