In Memory Of Staff Sgt. David W. Textor

Staff Sgt. David W. Textor of Roanoke, Virginia died on July 15th in Mosul,
Iraq, from wounds suffered in a vehicle incident; the Department of Defense (DOD) has released
no further details regarding the circumstances of the fatal accident, but the incident is currently
under investigation.
Sgt. Textor was 27 years old. He was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 1st
Special Forces Group (Airborne) out of Fort Lewis, Washington.
He and his family had just moved
to Olympia before David's deployment in May. Textor is survived by his wife, Colette, and their
five young children together.
