In Memory Of Staff Sgt. Danny P. Dupre

Staff Sgt. Danny P. Dupre of Lockport, Louisiana was killed in
action on July 15th in the Al Anbar province of Iraq while supporting combat operations
for Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 9th Marines, 2nd Marine Division,
II Marine Expeditionary Force out of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
Sgt. Dupre
was just 28 years old. He was shot while gathering intelligence for his squad in Ramadi, about 70 miles West
of Baghdad, hit
behind the ear by a sniper's bullet while on a classified mission.
He was deployed overseas
to Iraq and Afghanistan four times.
Sgt. Dupre is survived by his wife Crystal, their
3-year-old son Daniel, and the rest of his family. Please keep them and Danny's friends and fellow
Marines in your thoughts and prayers.
