In Memory Of Pfc. Daniel A. C. McGuire

Pfc. Daniel A.C. McGuire of Mashpee, Massachusetts was killed in action in
Anbar province, Iraq on August 14th, when he came under small arms fire while supporting combat operations for Operation Iraqi
Freedom.
He was just 19 years old. Pfc. McGuire was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 6th Marine
Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force out of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
His father, Mark McGuire, said of him, "His desire to be a Marine went beyond blowing things up and
being a warrior. He loves this country and everything it stands for...My son - one of the few, one
of the proud, a Marine."
Please keep Daniel's family, friends, and fellow Marines in your thoughts
and prayers.
