Chief Warrant Officer Corry A. Edwards of Kennedale, Texas died on
September 18th in Tallil, Iraq, when the CH-47 Chinook helicopter he was in went down. He
was 38 years old.
Officer Edwards was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 149th Aviation,
36th Combat Aviation Brigade, Texas Army National Guard out of Grand Prairie, Texas.
