I'm sorry, but this is Weird with a
capital W. We would absolutely love it if politicians stuck to
politics from now on and stopped showing up on every channel and every
show they possibly could that has nothing to DO with politics. If it
was about the direction of our country, we would understand it. But
take this for example. First Mayor Michael
Bloomberg, who takes virtually any chance he can get to show
himself off, meets with Tyra Banks to congratulate
her on her 500th episode and plant a tree with her. Then - brace
yourselves - both Hillary Clinton and Barack
Obama gave congratulations to Tyra via satellite. We're not
joking.
Dear presidential candidates: you do not have to
accept every invitation you get.
First, Hillary gives a "Good luck,
and God bless you."
Then, a congratulations from Barack
Obama, and a thanks for letting him play hoops on her show...glad he could
play "a small part" of her reaching "this tremendous
milestone."
