Clinton Campaign Accuses Obama Of Disobeying The Rules

It's Hillary vs. Barack again: and
this time it's about ads. Hillary Clinton's campaign advisors are
saying that Barack Obama's purchased ad time on CNN and MSNBC violates the
Democratic National Committee pledge not to advertise in early primary
states, like Florida, who have bumped up their primary dates against the
wishes of the Democratic party. The Democratic National Committee
(DNC) prohibits running commercials or otherwise advertising in Florida
because of their primary date controversy - or even campaigning there at
all.
Bill Burton, spokesman for Obama, released the following
written statement:
"Both national cable networks told us it would
be impossible for us to run advertising nationally that excluded only
Florida. For that reason we consulted with the South Carolina
Democratic Party Chair Carol Fowler, who told us unequivocally she did not
consider this to be a violation of the pledge made to the early
states."
Despite the argument between the Clinton and Obama campaigns over this
alleged indiscretion, Hillary's people have not ruled out advertising there themselves after
this discovery.
