Clay Aiken Talks Malaria In Somalia
Thursday, September 11th, 2008 by Connie T.
Before his new bundle of joy arrived, Clay Aiken was in Somalia
doing humanitarian work as part of his role as a UN Goodwill Ambassador. UNICEF USA has now posted
a video of Aiken in Africa, and he's discussing the epidemic of malaria.
UNICEF has teamed
up with Malaria No More, and every donation to protect children in Somalia from malaria will be matched
dollar for dollar by Malaria No More.
Malaria is a preventable disease, so the fact that more than
one million people - mostly children in Africa - die of malaria each year is extremely tragic.
