In Memory Of Pfc. Christopher A. McGraw

Pfc. Christopher A. McGraw of Columbia, Mississippi, died on October
14th in Baghdad, Iraq from wounds suffered when he encountered small arms fire while on dismounted
patrol in Nasar Wa Salam. He was 23 years old.
Pfc. McGraw was assigned to the 1st Battalion,
21st Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 25th Infantry Division out of Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.
Christopher's brother also served in Iraq but came home two years ago with post-traumatic stress
disorder (PTSD). Chris was engaged to be married to the mother of his young son.
Before the
incident in which Christopher was killed in action, he had left a message on his MySpace page that
said, "For man hath no greater love than that he would lay down his own life for his friends."
