In Memory Of Spc. Christopher A. Bartkiewicz

Spc. Christopher A. Bartkiewicz of Dunfermline, Illinois died on September
30th in Baghdad, Iraq, from wounds sustained when insurgents attacked his dismounted patrol using
small arms fire, according to the Department of Defense (DOD). He was 25 years old.
Spc. Bartkiewicz
was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division
out of Baumholder, Germany.
Christopher is survived by his wife Emily, their two daughters McKayla
and Morgan, his mother, his sisters, and the rest of his family. He was a son, a father, a nephew, and
a brother. Please keep his family, friends, and fellow soldiers in your thoughts and prayers.
